🇵🇪 Why is Peru becoming so important to the world? In this video, we analyze a transformation happening right before our eyes, one that goes far beyond economic growth. Peru now possesses several advantages the world needs: copper and strategic minerals, food, agricultural exports, a prime location on the Pacific coast, new ports, greater connectivity, and an increasingly strong trade relationship with Asia. From the Port of Chancay and Callao to the growth of Peruvian exports, there are signs that may seem unrelated, but when put together, they tell a much larger story. As an architect, I also want to look at this process from another perspective: what happens when a country begins to connect ports, highways, cities, production, and international markets? Can infrastructure truly change Peru's future? Peru still faces significant challenges, but it could also be facing one of the greatest opportunities of recent decades.
