‘What a stupid question’: Trump brutally shuts down reporter in humiliating encounter

US President Donald Trump has lashed out at a reporter at a media conference in the Oval Office of the White House. The reporter had asked the President whether he had ruled out using nuclear weapons on Iran. “There’s no reason for it. What a stupid question that is, actually,” President Trump said. “Here they are; they’re totally defeated militarily. So now I defeat 'em, and now I should use a nuclear weapon on top of 'em? What a stupid question.”
