24 Pepper Plants = A LOT of Bell Peppers!
This California Wonder bell pepper harvest has been a long time coming! I started these 24 California Wonder pepper plants from seed in late winter. They had a rough start when we experienced an unseasonably hot spring. For a while, I wasn't sure how well they were going to do. With plenty of water, care, and patience, these pepper plants made an amazing comeback. They grew into big, healthy plants and are now producing a bountiful summer harvest! Today I'm out in the garden picking California Wonder bell peppers. These peppers won't go to waste—we use them in our homemade tomato sauce, so this harvest will help stock our pantry with food we've grown right here in our garden. Come along and see how these 24 plants turned a difficult start into a great pepper harvest!
