In today's hearing, KPK prosecutors will present four witnesses. These witnesses are: 1. Director of Blueray Cargo, John Field 2. Director of PT Djati Perkasa Global Industri, Martinus Suparman 3. Commissioner of PT Karya Putra Prima, Johan Sugiharto 4. Civil Servant at Customs and Excise, Ari Kusrianingsih KPK prosecutors stated that the trial will begin at 1:30 p.m. WIB. "The trial will begin around 1:30 p.m. WIB, starting with our opening statement," KPK prosecutor Takdir Suhan told the media. Previously, KPK prosecutors had charged the former Head of the Intelligence Section of Customs and Excise, Budiman Bayu Prasojo, with receiving gratuities totaling Rp 7.7 billion. "Receiving gratuities means receiving a total of Rp 525 million in Singapore Dollars, Rp 5.27 billion, USD 10,000, Singapore Dollars 119,755, Hong Kong Dollars 4,700, and RM 8,100," said KPK prosecutor Takdir Suhan at the trial on Tuesday (July 28, 2026). The gratuities totaled Rp 7.7 billion. The details were from the head of the Blueray Cargo Group, John Field, and two of his subordinates, Dedy Kurniawan Sukolo and Andri, through seven foreign exchange payments in Singapore Dollars, each worth Rp 75 million, for a total of Rp 525 million. Furthermore, the receipts from cigarette entrepreneurs occurred between September 2024 and January 2026. The details are IDR 5.2 billion, including 10,000 US dollars, 119,755 Singapore dollars, 4,700 Hong Kong dollars, and 8,100 Malaysian ringgit. Regarding the receipt of the aforementioned gratuities, the public prosecutor asserted that the Defendant failed to report them to the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) within the 30-day period stipulated by law. "In fact, these receipts were made without any legitimate right," explained KPK Prosecutor Takdir. The Defendant's actions are regulated and subject to criminal penalties under Article 12B in conjunction with Article 18 of the Corruption Law in conjunction with Article 20 letter c and Article 127 paragraph (1) of Law Number 1 of 2023 concerning the Criminal Code.
