Renewed Fighting Between U.S. and Iran, 900 Trapped in Nepal, and Grand Canyon Flooding #shorts

The U.S. carried out strikes on an Iranian island Sunday after a month of little fighting. U.S. officials said Iranian forces were preparing to launch mines into the Strait of Hormuz. Iran responded by launching missiles at U.S. sites in Jordan, all of which were intercepted. A drone was also intercepted by the UAE over its territorial waters. Rescuers rushed Monday to reach workers believed to be trapped in tunnels at hydropower sites buried in mud after catastrophic flooding in Nepal and China. There are nearly 1,000 combined deaths between the two countries, with more than 4,700 still missing. Roughly 900 hydropower workers are unaccounted for. And a major flash flood at the Grand Canyon Saturday left one person dead with an additional 15 others missing. More than 60 people were airlifted from the canyon over the weekend.
