James Cleverly has slammed Sadiq Khan for being "asleep at the wheel" after he announced he would be running as the Conservative's Mayor of London candidate. The former Shadow Justice Secretary and Tory MP for Braintree resigned from Kemi Badenoch's front bench on Saturday. Speaking to Camilla Tominey on GB News, Cleverly said: "The simple truth of the matter is that Sadiq Khan has been asleep at the wheel as Mayor of London. He's let the city's reputation slip."
