Sánchez, atrapado: dos exclusivas prueban que estaba avisado y que Marruecos organizó la invasión
Pedro Sánchez arrives at Congress this Thursday with a problem he can no longer solve with rhetoric. Two exclusive journalistic reports have put the Moncloa narrative on the ropes regarding the invasion of Ceuta, a narrative based on two premises: Morocco is a reliable and cooperative partner, and no one warned Moncloa of the magnitude of what was being prepared on the other side of the border for July 30th. An exclusive published by our colleagues at El Español reveals that the police have submitted a report to the judge of the National Court handling the case, concluding that the mass entry was not a spontaneous migratory phenomenon, but a planned process in which Moroccan gendarmes guided the migrants under the orders of plainclothes officers. The hypothesis of an operation organized from Morocco thus ceases to be a political suspicion and becomes a line of police investigation. For its part, the television program Código 10, on Cuatro, provides the other missing piece: two reports from the National Police, dated July 28 and 29, which warned of a mass entry into Ceuta and raised the risk to "extreme," with thousands of people potentially attempting to enter by swimming and over the fence. In other words, there were warnings, and there was an extraordinarily specific one. This is devastating for Sánchez, who will have to explain what happened to these reports prepared by the National Police. Furthermore, a very uncomfortable question arises: what did the government do with these warnings? Sánchez's appearance before Congress, scheduled for this Thursday, will take place just hours after these revelations came to light. The Prime Minister will have to explain more than just the subsequent handling of the crisis: what he knew, who knew it, when they knew it, and why Spain did not act accordingly. Because if Morocco organized the operation and the government was clearly warned, we are no longer dealing with an unforeseeable disaster. We are facing a national security failure and a political responsibility that Sánchez can no longer evade.
