Guadalupe Acosta Naranjo submitted a new name proposal for his political organization, “Somos” (We Are), to the National Electoral Institute (INE) after the Electoral Tribunal of the Federal Judiciary (TEPJF) ordered a change to its name and distinctive elements. With this change, the name “Somos México” (We Are Mexico) disappears, while the group led by Acosta Naranjo will retain its characteristic pink color.
