I am not gonna lie, the whole True Detective style approach with Lanterns is really growing on me. After the big reveal of Hal Jordan’s murder in the 2026 timeline during the pilot, the second episode absolutely made zero effort to address the previous cliffhanger and instead left us with a ticking timer to figure out who the Manhunter is! Even then, the spotlight this week has certainly been on John Stewart who has had a really interesting encounter and showcased some oddly stunning skills as the next Green Lantern in life.
