Temerloh crash: Police identify four victims, including family of three

Police have identified the four people, including a married couple and their four-year-old son, who were killed in an 11-vehicle crash at Km110.3 of the East Coast Expressway (Eastbound) near Lanchang, Temerloh, last night. Acting Pahang police chief Datuk Azry Akmar Ayob said the three family members were Muhammad Nazatul Nazmi, 32, his wife Nur Atiqah Sofiya Mohd Kazwan, 32, and their four-year-old son, who were travelling in a Proton S70. The fourth victim was Seow Beng Wain, 55, from Shah Alam, Selangor, who was a passenger in a Honda CR-V. Azry Akmar said the tanker driver was seriously injured and is receiving treatment at Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Hospital in Temerloh. He said the drivers and passengers of eight other vehicles, including an express bus and seven other vehicles, suffered minor injuries. All victims were taken to the Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Hospital for treatment, while post-mortems were conducted this morning.
